| The Standard float will put you into the Gasconade River just above where the Big Piney River spills into the Gasconade. It includes approximately a 9 mile float where you will see caves, bluffs, wildflowers, and lots of wildlife. You will pass Boiling Springs, where 42 million gallons of water gush forth daily from the river floor. The float ends just past where the Little Piney Creek enters the Gasconade. You beach your equipment at the Arlington River Resort gravel bar, where you leave your equipment and walk back to your campsite. This is typically a 7-8 hour float, but actual float time varies according to river stages. |
