Arlington River Resort is a lovely family-oriented RV park and campground set in a river valley where the Little
Piney Creek flows into the Gasconade River. It sits on over 400 beautiful acres with tall rock faced bluffs, open
pastures and includes more than a mile of scenic river front. Additionally the property shares a common border
with the Mark Twain National Forest. For the history buffs, Arlington is the place for you. The original town of
Arlington dates back to before the American Civil War, being part of several significant events in American
History. Take a hike along an original portion of the Trail of Tears or admire the remains of a railroad town from
the turn of the century. The town includes a hotel built in the 1880s as well as a school house, log cabin and
several other buildings which still remain. And this is all located along the legendary Route 66, where many
American Dreams were born.
